Livemusic in Hospitals

VZW MusIC brings livemusic at the bed of a patient staying in intensive care. Through VZW musIC I play music in changing duo’s in UZ Gent and a burn center in Brussels.

On the photo you see Pieter De Wilde (on the right) with his Hang. He plays very gentil on that curious but sweet sounding instrument created in Switzerland in 2000.

This fragment is recorded with Pieter De Wilde at my home. It started with an improvisation on Hangdrum by Pieter and me on alt-saxophone. I did some editing on that and I added keyboard, percussion, … For obvious reasons I don’t play sax in the hospital but so you know how the instrument called Hang sounds. In the hospitals I play clarinet, flute, small percussion and chimes.
